LOVE” ??? When you know that you gonna have pizza for dinner.😋😋 But what to do if you are locked in home and all your favorite pizza places are closed????
Well, of course, that is a problem. We are locked in the home because of COVID and all we are waiting is to get out and have a nice slice of a pizza. But who knows when is that “When” ????
This quarantine is time to improve our Cooking skills so that we don’t have to be totally dependent on restaurants to eat our favorite food. Like pizza.
Many of us make pizza at home too but normally we bring pizza base from the market and then prepare pizza at home?? How it would be if I say that we can make pizza at home without oven and that will be vegan too???
Many of us may not have a microwave or oven at home. So this pizza base, we will prepare on Stove.
To make pizza base all you need is
All purpose flour -1kg
Oil- 3 tablespoons
Salt to taste
Sugar powder- 2Tablespoon
Dry yeast – 1Tablespoon
Water 2 cups
The first thing to do is activate dry yeast. Put around 3tablespoon hot water in a pot, dry yeast and few crystals of sugar and leave it for 10 to 15 mins.
After it activates to make a dough, Put all-purpose flour in a bowl. Add Oil, salt around 2 tablespoons, sugar powder and activated yeast.
Start kneading the dough with water. Put a small amount of water and knead. Keep dough a little tight because it will soften later.
Now pack to bowl and keep it aside for 1 to 1.5hrs. Check whether the dough is fermented or not. If not yet keep for another hour.
Not make balls from the dough, bigger than chapati balls and made round chapati shape.
On the stove keep Nonstick pan and keep this chapati on medium flame. Flip to another side after 2-3 mins. Check both sides are little brown and should be a little hard.
Now after it cools down use this base to make pizza.
