There used be a poem in kindergarten in hindi that ” Lal Tamatar khaynege, mote ho ke jaynge” now though no one wants to to be fat but everyone want to be Healthy.
There is an old ongoing debate on whether to consider the tomato a fruit or a vegetable. Tomatoes are berries hence considered fruits but as they are not used in any kind of dessert hence nutritional consider it a vegetable. Whether fruit or a vegetable, I have seen many people who love tomatoes either in a salad or cooked food or as a soup.
Soup is a very healthy thing to have either at breakfast or lunch or at dinner. Soup helps in digestion of too. Also if we have soup before having lunch or dinner then we will eat other unhealthy things less as we will be a little full already. Tomato or any vegetable soup is good to go. In winter I normally have soups in breakfast to avoid tea or coffee and have this in lunch too.
Tomatoes are the major dietary source of the antioxidant lycopene. They are also a great source of vitamin C, potassium, folate, and vitamin K. Also it’s good for keeping skin healthy.
There are two types for making healthy tomato soup. Let’s talk about 1-
1tea spoon Black pepper
1/2tea spoon Cinnamon powder
1teaspoon Dry ginger powder
2 cup Water
Cut all tomatoes into half check properly. Put all tomatoes into the cooker and add 1 cup water, heat this until a whistle. When it cools down peel it. Now put all the tomatoes into a blender and blend it into a paste. Now empty this into a pot add remaining water and mix all the ingredients and boil it. I avoid adding oil into the soup to make it more healthy.
2nd Recipe –
Instead of boiling and peeling you can add all tomatoes into blender directly. Remaining process is the same.
