Many of us might make soybean milk at home, as it isn’t easily available in the market in all Indian cities. So the big question arises, what to do with a scratch of soybean. Just throwing it away every time should not be the only option, right?
So my mumma always made Senv(Indian snack) from that paste. But we wanted to try something different so this time we made 3 more items, ‘Dhokla’ and 2 different types of soya sticks.
So a ‘Dhokla’ is basically a gujrati snack that can be prepared with many different ingredients like gram flour, rice, Moong beans, etc. So this for this dhokla, of course, you will need soybean scratch from your milk, Urad daal, moong daal, and rice flour.
Now let’s jump to the recipe part-
Urad dal -1/2 cup
Moong dal- 1 cup
Soybean paste(scratch)- 1/4th cup
Rice flour – 1/4th cup
Green chilly -4
Lemon juice- 2 tbsp
Sugar – 2tbsp
Oil -2tbsp
Fruit soda- 1 pack(small) /10gram
Salt
Neem leaves -8-10
Sesame seeds- 1/2tbsp
Mustard seeds- 1/2tbsp
Cumin seeds- 1/3tbsp
Water -4cups
*Note- Check how to make dhokla on stove.
